Running the numbers

Three days....that's how long I've gone without running this week....it's killing me, but I'm holding back.

30 days....that's how long I've gone without Coke....it's also killing me, but I'm managing.

15 days....till the next race....a 5 mile race on Thanksgiving morning with my sister-in-laws.

158 days....until Boston!!

This is recovery week, my least favorite week (much worse than tapering.) It's a necessary week for my body as I head into a fun filled training schedule for November and December, so I'll try to enjoy it! In these next two months I will focus more on weight training, plyometrics, and cross training with both biking and swimming. Hopefully this will also be a benefit for the half ironman training that will begin in early March.

So, despite the strong desire to get out and enjoy this beautiful weather, I'm holding back. Perhaps Friday.
