Ahhhhhh....

So the rain didn't come, it didn't pour like the weather forecaster had promised, but I ran indoors anyway. Sometimes you just need a treadmill to push you through a workout because that belt doesn't stop for tired legs, you fall off the back end if you're not keeping up speed, so it's just what I needed to push myself today.

I've noticed that all treadmills vary with their times/speeds/inclines, etc. So, on the treadmill that I ran on today.... 1 mile warm up at 6.6, followed by 2 miles at 7.0, another mile at 7.5, and 1 mile at 8.0 and a mile cool down. I nearly lost my breakfast at mile 5, but with enough heavy swallowing, I was able to suck it down. I'm thinking I'll need to eat a little earlier next time.

I left the gym and headed over to AE for another workout with Meredith, thanks girl! I know I can push harder, do more, but I am realizing that the weakness in my upper body is holding me back....it's hard to finish the sets of 15/20 when my arms just won't go the distance. Soon enough though....keep pushing.

Now that I've eaten about 800 calories in one sitting, I think I'm finally full (not really, but I'll stop eating for now). The word "inhaling" has been taken to a whole other level, I inhale, gulp, chow, devour my food these days, it's sad but true!

The plan tomorrow is to run with a new acquaintance and see if I can keep up with her. Ha! We shall see.
