It was no wonder I struggled to find the movtivation necessary for Tuesday's run, it all became very clear later that night. Somehow, I managed to come down with a horrible case of the stomach flu! It ravaged my body like nobody's business, wreaking havoc on my fluid/electrolyte balances and left me cooped up in bed for just over 24 hrs.
Thankfully, I'm feeling well enough today that I could go out for a run.
Today's workout: 3 mile hilly warm up
4x800's at 7:00min/mi pace
1 mile cool down
Still trying to catch up on my hydration, but at least my body felt good today. Glad to be back on track.
Friday's plan:
4 mi run with 2 miles at MP
workout at Active Edge
