I hate heat, I hate humidity even more, I hate the combination of the two!!! Tues, a 9 mile run day, ended up being a 7 mile sweat bath of a run! I'm glad I bought that waterproof iPod, otherwise I'm not sure Best Buy would have taken it back. Well, 7 miles of hills in the humidity you could cut with a knife simply did me in, BLAH- BLAH- BLAH. I'm not even sure it was worth running? Water weight loss of 3 lbs during a 7 mi run, so not cool. So that was Tuesday's workout.....
Wednesday, day off....
Thursday, this morning, 6.5 mile progressive run on the treadmill. It was actually a gorgeous morning, finally, but I had planned on going to the club and thus I had to go. Treadmill running is boring, but it sure does force you to run a steady, even pace whether you want to or not. That's what I needed this morning, a nice steady fast pace and NO hills! It was a perfect run.
Friday is a 3 mile recovery run
Saturday 13 mile long run.
