That's why today I wondered if I run to eat or eat to run. All this running keeps my body toned, in shape, fit (at least for the most part), so maybe I'm running so much so I can eat what I want. All this junk I'm consuming would leave me flabby, tired, sluggish, pre-diabetic, but it doesn't because I run so much. If I ate healthy foods, more small meals, provided my muscles with recovery drinks, and kept a balance between carbs and protein, I might just be 10 lbs lighter and faster too! That would be eating to run, or fueling my body to support the training. Hmmm....This is definitely something I need to think about, maybe I'm just doing it all wrong.
Running is not just a strenuous activity I happen to be completely, insanely in love with..... it's become my "soapbox" for sharing and inspiring women to learn the importance of health, wellness, empowerment, achievement, and excellence.

Eat to Run or Run to Eat, that is the question...
As I gobbled down the small pack of peanut m&m's I bought today, I began to contemplate my habits. I run anywhere from 20-50 miles per week, usually run between 2-4 marathons per year, do track workouts or Yasso's at least once per week, and if I'm not training for a marathon, I play on a soccer and tennis team. So, one might think that I'm this super healthy nut who feeds the body protein shakes, supplements, vitamins and extra minerals, right? WRONG! I honestly consider doing all these things, I mean I should do them, I just don't get to the "doing" part. Take today for starters. That bag of m&m's I gobbled down, that was my dinner. All I felt like eating was chocolate, and yes, I also had them with my breakfast. That was only after I had guzzled down a Coke (and a refill later). Most days I think I eat more junk than healthy foods, probably not a good pattern.
